Yes, passengers 21 and over can consume alcohol on a party bus in New Jersey. The vehicle is considered a private space, similar to a limousine, so open container laws don’t apply to passengers.
However, the chauffeur cannot drink, and you cannot provide alcohol to anyone under 21. We’ll ask you to sign an agreement confirming all passengers consuming alcohol are of legal age.
You’re responsible for bringing your own alcohol. The wet bar area provides storage and cup holders, but we don’t supply beverages. Bring a cooler with ice if you want to keep drinks cold throughout the night.
One important rule: no smoking inside the vehicle. That includes cigarettes, cigars, and vaping. We charge substantial cleaning fees if passengers smoke inside, and the smell affects the next group’s experience.
Your chauffeur stays with your group for the entire reserved time period. If you booked 4 hours and dinner runs long, that’s fine—your chauffeur waits. You’re not charged extra for timing adjustments within your reserved window.
If you need to extend beyond your original booking, that’s possible if the chauffeur doesn’t have another commitment immediately after. The extension is charged at the hourly rate, and you’ll settle that cost at the end of the night.
Running late at pickup is different. If your group isn’t ready at the scheduled start time, your rental clock still starts. You’re paying for the chauffeur’s time, and they may have another booking after yours. We offer a 15-minute grace period, but after that, you’re using your reserved hours.
Route changes during the night are usually fine. If you decide to skip one venue and add another, just communicate with your chauffeur. They’ll adjust the route as long as the changes fit within your time window and service area.
